Overview

Victoria serves as an associate on the firm’s corporate transactional team. Victoria brings a fresh and creative perspective when advising private, closely held businesses, owners, startups and investors regarding general corporate matters and investment, capital raising and liquidity event transactions, including venture capital financing and mergers and acquisitions. Victoria is passionate about helping clients grow their businesses to the fullest potential while offering guidance to ensure clients understand the process along the way.

Victoria attended the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration. As part of her undergraduate studies, Victoria helped start a nonprofit business to raise money for children and their families who were battling childhood cancer. She also studied marketing abroad in Italy while interning with a couture children’s clothing brand.

After college, Victoria attended law school at Regent University where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and Business Law Society. During law school, Victoria joined the firm as a summer intern and continued with the firm after she graduated from Regent. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In her free time, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs, which are both Newfoundland’s named Magnus and Osmond. She also loves to be outdoors whether it be hiking, spending time at the beach, or playing volleyball.

    • Represented a psychiatric practice in the sale of the practice

    • Represented a commercial janitorial cleaning company in the sale of its business and assets

    • Represented an entity in its acquisition of an online fitness company with all intellectual property and assets

    • Assisted clients with negotiations of payment plans for tax obligations, including on individual’s obligation

    • Assisted clients with Employee Retention Credit guidance

    • Represented a medical device company through a capital raise and obtaining funding from investors

    • Represented an executive of a large medical practice to be installed as CEO in a hostile takeover by a Private Equity group

    • Represented nonprofit in raising capital for microfinancing loans internationally

    • Represented small businesses obtaining a loan with the Small Business Administration and facilitating communications between all lenders and counsel
